Meet the team

  • Filmmaker and Strategy

    Muhammad not Mo likes to combine his passion for creative solutions with his other interests. He has created commercials and marketing material for skateboarding and outdoor adventure companies. When hes not holding a camera in his hand hes skating around NYC looking for another spot to hit.

  • Producer, Editor, Illustrator

    As a multidisciplinary creative, Khyriel Palmer has multiple art forms, such as film /radio production and graphic communications. For the past decade, Khyriel had to invest in new ways to adapt to the ever-changing industry constantly. Becoming a 3x Emmy-nominated multimedia artist, producer, editor, and shooter with a proven track record in live television, podcasts, documentaries, and a BA from New York City College of Technology Broadcasting Design. Khyriel has worked his way up from intern, freelancer, associate producer, producer to even host. As of February 2021, he became the series host for BRIC Radio’s podcast in Brooklyn, USA. While expanding his knowledge in coordinating pre and post-production activities, with comprehensive talent coordination, graphic design, and visual effect manipulation thanks to working alongside brands such as AfroPunk, NYS WMBE Gala, and BRIC TV.

    Most recently, working alongside the team at Scene 8, Khyriel continues to push the limit of his abilities for a better vision

  • Filmmaker, Art Director, Producer

    Bell Tessalee has been a producer, and creator in the Media, Fashion, Events and Entertainment for the past 15 years. They previously worked as a womenswear designer before pivoting into content production. In their work, they enjoy using bold, abstract and playful visuals in juxtaposition to otherwise outdated concepts. Sophia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" was the film that sparked their interest in the world of filmmaking.

  • Filmmaker, Photographer, Drone Pilot

    Patrick is a filmmaker & artist born and raised straight out of The Bronx. Influenced by his upbringing, his vision of cinematography is a fusion of feelings ranging from nostalgia to the rawness of the emotions within the story. His favorite cinematographer is Roger Deakins and his favorite movie is Paid in Full.

  • Director and Visual Artist

    Chris Cook is a fine art photographer (b.) from Brooklyn, New York. He is known for his evocative images of everyday life in New York City. Cook takes photographs to preserve stories and experiences that capture the human experience for future generations. Some recent acquisitions come from the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, NYU Special Collections, the Charles Evans Inniss Memorial Library at Medgar Evers College, Cornell University Library Special Collections, Princeton University Special Collections, the University of Pennsylvania Special Collections, and Yale University Special Collections.
